Community Rules & Guidelines
Welcome to VC ARENA ("VCA"), a space for entrepreneurs, founders, investors, to connect thoughts, share experiences, and build meaningful, long-term transactional relationships. To ensure this remains a positive, productive, and respectful space, we ask all members to follow these simple guidelines:
1. Relationships
• We ask all members to foster great relationships through shared experiences. Be genuine, respectful, and supportive in your interactions.
2. Experiences
• We ask all members to share their knowledge, and more importantly challenges and successes in our business experience. Seek feedback and collaboration, not necessarily self-promote yourselves or your businesses.
3. Engagements
• We ask all members to communicate and/or offer constructive feedback and provide a helping hand when someone is facing challenges.
4. Respect/Time
• We ask all members to post concise and relevant comments and avoid spamming the group with unrelated or excessive promotional and/or marketing content.
5. Professionalism
• We ask all members to be kind, encouraging and positive in all interactions. Disrespectful behavior, discrimination or negativity will not be tolerated.
6. Solicitation or Pitching/Selling
• We ask all members to create the conditions for people to engage in transactions based on naturally cultivated relationships over time. If you’re seeking interest in a project or idea explicitly, we ask that you develop a relationship with a member in personal ways that would create a mutually beneficial engagement conduit for these types of discussions aligned with VC Arena’s goals.
7. Confidentiality
• We ask all members to respect the privacy and security of others aligned with our Privacy Policies.
8. Moderation
• The group’s moderators reserve the right to remove any posts or members that violate these rules. If you see something that doesn’t align with the group’s purpose, please notify a moderator.
9. Violation
• If any member repeatedly violates these guidelines, or have outstanding unpaid memberships, we reserve the right to remove members from the community at our discretion.
